Step 1: Buy Water.
Nestle Spring Water 16.9oz Bottles Case of 24 for 8 bucks.
29 cents a piece.
Step 2: Buy Business Cards.
Less than a penny a piece for 250 on vistaprint.com [no need to go fancy on these. Thin paper is easier. It sticks to the bottle making it easier to hand-out]
Step 3: Find Thirsty People.
Less than 30 cents a piece!
It is that easy.
Don’t waste your time on custom labels. They are a WASTE OF TIME and end up in the trash wrapped around the bottle. Business cards end up on peoples counters. Bottom line there is a great chance it will stick with them.
This was another idea from an ARC Church Planter.

My Question to Dino- How much should the church advertise while serving? or how do you get them to remember you?
Dino’s Answer- When we serve people in an outreach, we always do our best to make sure to give them a lifeline. We aren’t in-your-face with things – we keep it simple. We let them know there are no strings attached to the gift we’re giving them or the service we’re providing. But we do make sure they know we want to be there for them in the future. Usually, we’ll give them a small card that has a message on it to the effect of “Changing the world through small acts of kindness” and the church name, phone number and website. That way, when they hit a time when they’re hurting, and they’re looking for help and answers, they’ll know we are people who are ready to help them and who love them. And it’s amazing how it works. People know this is a safe place to come when you’re in need, and when they come, we make sure to show them the love of Jesus like crazy.
